Technology provides the invisible framework that connects all of platform games. Motion sensors can detect where players are standing and how they are moving. Cameras can monitor activity and translate physical actions into digital events. Projection systems can transform ordinary floors and walls into changing environments. Interactive lighting can provide visual feedback, while sound can create emotional responses to important moments. A player's digital profile can store achievements and allow the system to remember previous visits. These technologies do not need to be visible to the visitor. In fact, the best experience may occur when the technology disappears into the background and the player simply feels that the world is responding naturally.
