Beyond the basics of sprinting, speed stars adds variety to the experience by constructing many competition forms, each with its own set of demands and tactical quirks, that keep players on their toes. Short-distance events focus heavily on explosive bursts of speed, where every moment of the start is crucial. To keep from collapsing in the latter phases of more endurance-demanding events, players need to master the art of performance distribution. Additional technical modifications, such as hurdles, raise the bar for depth by demanding pinpoint accuracy in both running pace and obstacle management.
Because of this, speedstars are never only a rehash of a single move. Every obstacle is different, therefore players have to be ready to change their tactics, reflexes, and strategy on the go. Because of this variety, the experience lasts much longer than in most usual fast-paced sports games. Every new task requires a different set of skills and the capacity to adapt. Even after players have put in a lot of time, this is what makes the game seem new. When it comes down to it, speedstars is all about the competitive environment that revolves around the fundamentals of control and speed.
